I created a browser that let's you download data 50x faster... can I list it on Ebay?

So I don't know how to sell software and this is more of a math thing but it really does work and I have all the data to prove it. I need to make some cash so I thought about just selling the idea outright on EBAY. Is that something people do?

I'm certain it's worth a fortune but I need to pay my mortgage so I'm just fucked.

These are the results so you can see it's much faster. 4096 is blazingly fast... and I tested it out on all these sites repeatedly to prove it. Look at DARPA's. My internet is only 100 mbps and that download was at 1 gbps. Not possible you say? Well, call DARPA and ask them... it's their server.

1. You do realize if you don't copyright this, you've thrown your work away, right?

I have known copyright lawyers--not specifically those specializing in software, which is not my area at all, but I know there is a process. You really do need to work with someone to guide you through the validation process so that you can copyright. Maybe just do some "lay person" type internet research first on software copyrighting and then pay for a consultation with an expert?

So yes, an equation that lets you download instantly... from any site. Sort of... there's some nuance as the site your downloading from might host the pictures on a remote server and then you have to wait for that slow process but otherwise... it's instant transfer. Instant movies and pictures and anything really...

and then... start pinging every website on the planet. When I download that fast it actually flags the log file which is funny so I am leaving messages to the Web Admins to look for it on Ebay but I just realized... they might not be able to do that...

7. You could use ebay as a publicity stunt to get attention for your browser

You could list it with an auction with a "reserve" price so that you don't give it away. Send announcements to the software/browser companies about the auction.

But if I were you I would contact the big browser companies.....Firefox, Safari, et.al. and pitch it to them. Find some other way to pay the mortgage this month and get out there and market your product....then you probably won't have to worry about the mortgage again.
