After a booth at a fantasy convention you’d be flush again.

as I was well known at one time in the fantasy/sci-fi scene and did sell very well. That was 23 years ago lol. However, I'm unable to travel, or man a booth. I have a progressive condition that is affecting my body and of late, my hands. I literally can't stand for more than ten minutes. I need a cart or something to lean on.

Thank you again!

however I know where to post to sell - Facebook, and some private collectors. I seem to have a reluctance as I think they're never quite finished, or they're not quite good enough to sell. I will finish up this one piece I'm working on - I detail them to death, and then I know this collector will purchase her. Then maybe I'll get the guts to sell this one, and several others, including Watcher.

Did you use a dremel or chisels? Either way all that beautiful hair must have been forever to do.

You are amazing when it comes to wood carving.

This isn't wood - it's Aves Apoxie Sculpt on metal plate. Completely hand sculpted and painted!

I do have mini dremels/tools for full sculptures.

Tool its the shit when it comes to making so many things.

Never used epoxie sculpt do they have a more putty like form?

If so could you recommend some. Also how breakable is it?

Go to: http://avesstudio.com

It's incredibly strong once cured! One can sand, drill, carve, build onto, this material.

I have mini dremels (2 different types) and can't say enough about my tools!

Aves is also non toxic, unlike its predecessor and competitor MagicSculp. I love both materials - I started in MagicSculp in 1997 I believe, and turned on the Art Doll World to it. I switched to Aves when I found it as I'm extremely sensitive to the ammonia smell in MS. It's also safe for kids to use, unlike polymer clay which releases phthalates directly into the skin and can affect the hormones.

A fursuit head form with it or would it be too heavy to wear even if I built a wire form for it?

wear? That would be cool!

I'm not sure this would be the best material for that, but it could work, however I wouldn't use it for that.

There are some new materials that are lightweight and would lend themselves to making such a piece. A wire form would be necessary to create this...what a fun project! I buy certain sculpting materials for my grandsons that would work for your project.

There is a product called Forming Foam - it's inexpensive and, I think, would be ideal for such a project.

I do sell wholesale on occasion. It's okay - I'm just supposed to be on a planet with much less gravity!

I'll keep creating until I can't any longer. I teach all of the time - my grandkids, and there's a young woman up the street I taught when she was a girl a few times, and now wants lessons. I'm just a solitary person - I love being alone a lot. That's when I make my best work. I've taught many, so my work carries on. I have come to a place of acceptance. Sometimes I get grouchy at it though lol.

Let me know the name of the place in a dm if you don't mind. I'd love to sell several at once if possible. Then I could buy hearts and get another year of membership here! I could't buy any as we're strapped right now.

I'm also waiting on another SSD hearing, as the last was reversed and remanded. So that will help.
