Lindsay Lohan suspect in $100K Hollywood Hills jewelry theft, lying about car accident

Lindsay Lohan can’t seem to put her legal problems in the rearview mirror.

The 26-year-old starlet has been named as a suspect in a $100,000 jewelry theft at a posh Hollywood Hills house party last week, a law enforcement source told TMZ.com.

Meanwhile, the Santa Monica Police Department still wants to question Lohan about a June car accident in which she collided with a big rig on the Pacific Coast Highway and then allegedly claimed her assistant was behind the wheel.

“It’s still an open investigation. Investigators reached out to contact her and ask a couple questions last week. They spoke with her attorney,” Sgt. Richard Lewis with Santa Monica Police told the Daily News.
