(18,257 posts)3. Yes plus memories of my youth
Many years ago I played a valveless French horn in a group. We had two horns, two oboes, two recorders, a serpent and tambourine. The instruments were reproductions of 18th century instruments and we played music of that period. This was in Williamsburg, Va. for the tourists.

The only connection I have with classical is from my years studying strictly ballet.
I can't play any instruments. I sing in a choir although I can't read sheet music.
I'm awestruck by those who are gifted with a musical instrument talent such as yourself! 🤗
