I am always just knocked out when the 3rd movement moves into the 4th. For some reason to me anyway it is the most amazing, chill making part of the entire Concerto and it is a very wonderful concerto through out. Tears always until we gallop off.

I got to play it several times with several wonderful pianists but I will never, ever be able to forget playing in the orchestra this piece when we accompanied Andre Watts. That wonderful piece played by that wonderful musician just, well it was all I could do to keep playing and not stop and sob. He played the intro to that movement and he looked all of us in the eye as it wandered closer. We were mesmerized and then we were off to careen to the end.
