For fun, go listen to Emerson, Lake and Palmer version.

Progressive rock but very true to the original. And there were few piano players better than Keith Emerson.

I’ve heard pieces from it including the Great Gate of Kyiv (spelling mine) but really need to hear the whole thing.

The piano version, that is. I enjoy the orchestral piece more, but the piano version has some true gymnastics. I don't know how pianists can memorize and play these really long pieces. Focusing for that long without missing something just seems impossible to me.
