A legendary Irish composer of the 1600s-1700s. I learned all about him when I built my first Irish folk harp.
Sadly, my own harping days were short-lived when I discovered that I have no talent whatsoever for that instrument. It now stands in a corner in the living room gathering dust. I plunk a string from time to time as I walk past it, and sigh a sad sigh of regret.

I have no Celtic heritage that I know of, but I love and enjoy this music. Got a CD of The Chieftains purchased back in the early 80's. I'm fond of most ethnic music.
Plunking your harp now and then is good!

I cannot imagine/put myself in the position of those on the inside skinny.
