Would anyone like a free membership at Craftsy.com? I have a free membership associated with my r/o

premium membership. There are no strings attached. The membership is valid as long as I choose to remain a member. If you're interested, DU mail me the email address to send the invitation (only open to those who haven't previously had a Craftsy account). First person who asks will get the invitation.

on line (only) have to buy to retain instructions.
No rush!
Got for drawings and painting to nudge me along.

I'll have remember to cancel it in Oct '23 or I'll get the $89? "trick" taken out of my credit card.

Have a class I got from Domestika to finish, too.

Got a great all manner of jewelry making 8 day seminar from Curious Mondo in May '20 (or '21). I could do that because they offered a two payments option. 👍

There's a very, very few left to look at, and some I might want to rewatch again (or 3rd time).

I'm also a member of Creativebug which is o.k. but the jewelry classes are greatly lacking and very low level but the drawing, knitting, and embroidery are good. I got in early and have a really low price locked in and will remain a member.

I had subscriptions to several Interweave Press magazines and when those ceased publication, Interweave transferred the balance of my subscriptions as membership in their online Interweave Plus all-access account. Their best tutorials are knitting and beading.

I also pay for zoom classes through Craftcast once in a while. It's given me access to metal clay instructors in Europe at a low price point. With Craftcast, you get a download of the video and .pdf of course materials. Plus, they have regular sales--one is going right now.

Now, back to Craftsy...

They have *a lot* of classes and I have not found them to be lacking in any category. I'm a metalsmith and was pleasantly surprised by the tutorial levels. One by Nancy L. T. Hamilton on creating three types of prong setting from scratch is excellent. The beading classes are also rather thorough.

Craftsy currently has 88 drawing classes, 95 painting classes, and 64 jewelry classes (18 beading, 9 enamel & clay, 13 metalwork & soldering, & 14 wire wrapping). All together, Craftsy has over 1500 classes.

BTW, if you've never been a member of Craftsy, I still have one membership. A friend found out that she had been a member years ago and wasn't able to use one of my free memberships. DU Mail me your email address for an invitation.
