1. Great Memory Of This Song

We agreed to host a jam night at a local club every other month.
One time a guy gets called up to the stage and asks if we know this song. We say yes & no; we know how it goes, but none of had ever played it. We told him, just tell us the chords.
Because he'd be playing guitar through my amp, our guitarist would have to use my keyboard stand mic. So, I had no way to play those.
I put a vocal mic by the congas, and off we went. Was going fabulously and when the chorus came we came in with 4 harmony parts.
When we got done, our guest said, into the mic, "Holy shit! How about these guys as a host band!" He told us we were the best band he ever heard in a bar.
2 months later, he comes back, but with his whole band. He wanted his other guys to meet us. I asked him if they were going to do "Two Tickets". He said "Not in front of you guys."
I think you can see why I have fond memories of this tune.
