Have been for years.
His Rick Wakeman interview (fairly new) is terrific.
I watched an older one the other day called "How Many Guitars Is Too Many?" Really fun.
I have 14 and after that video, I realized I'm nowhere close to "too many".

... the most outstanding interviewer of musicians yet. Not only does he do his homework, he is so musically literate that he can talk with musicians or composers in any genre on their level and in very specific terms, including discussing melody, phrasing, harmony, rhythm, compositional techniques, and more. His interviews with Gary Burton and Keith Jarrett are stunning, but then he can turn around and do equally extended and in depth interviews with Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, various studio musicians who worked with Steely Dan, Tori Amos, on and on. Style, genre, instrument, etc, don't matter ... he's on it.

Not to mention his videos on production, music theory, gear, bla bla bla.

He's among the great content creators on youtube.

...the relatively new Wakeman or Gilmour interviews?
Both are very good. I was amazed at how light hearted Wakeman was.
Also, he did interviews with all 3 of the guys in The Police. Those were great, too.

... the Gilmour conversation was really great. Especially funny that it dropped soon after the 'why Gilmour won't be interviewed' episode. I did watch the Police episodes, as well as all the episodes of various players who have recorded with Steely Dan. I try to get around to most, if not all, of his interviews sooner or later, even if it's a musician I'm not especially into. He also brings on new artists I may not have heard, which is really cool.

His conversation with Pat Metheny was also a standout among many standout interviews. It seems that everyone he talks to is very enthusiastic about hanging out. His talks with Gary Burton and Keith Jarrett really impressed me, especially given that they're not able to play any more.
