Music Appreciation
Related: About this forumSomehow I forgot to post a very enjoyable interview with Jonnie Hodson of Silveroller from this past March.
This was right after their EP was released. I was looking for the interview again and couldn't find it among other Silveroller interviews I've linked to here. But I very distinctly remembered the interviewer's Irish accent, and how much he and Jonnie had talked about Paul Rodgers.
Finally had to do more searching, and found it, so now I can add it here. There's no transcript, and it's nearly 40 minutes long, but it's a fun listen:

(52,890 posts)click on something else on that page? I haven't seen anything like that.
I do have to scroll down past a bunch of ads and then a photo of the band to get to a smaller photo of the band next to the button to push to play this episode, EP1953.
There are links for playing it on Audius and Spotify below that, but you don't need them.

Try again, because the X isn't super easy to spot. Kind of blends in. I missed it the first time.

(52,890 posts)spokesman for the band, and I've heard even longer descriptions of how they got together. This interview was one I especially liked for all the talk about Paul Rodgers, my favorite rock singer, and for the three tracks from their EP, my three favorite Silveroller songs (Come On Come In, Turn To Gold, and Hold, in that order).
I wish Turn To Gold had been one of their three singles, after Hold and Come On, Come In.
I first heard Turn To Gold thanks to a live performance recorded by a fan who didn't know the song's title - this was months before the EP was released - but I was able to. find it on a setlist at Setlist.fm.
I thought it was brilliant: https://www.democraticunderground.com/1034107854
