It wasn't this show, but this vid captures the zeitgeist.

(10,138 posts)So I finally got to see them on their farewell tour in 2019 right before the pandemic, and they were amazing! I went with dear hubby who saw their first tour back in the summer of 1974 - what a lucky teenager he was!!!!

(2,954 posts)Edited to say the first time was the Dynasty Tour in 79 and then I saw them on their first reunion tour in 90 something....same venue which is now a megachurch lol. I can't believe my mom let me go. Although there was an adult with us, some friends cousin my mom never even met. He brought the weed. Perks of being a gen x latch key kid.

(11,780 posts)Someone mentioned a farewell tour in the 20-teens? I thought the one I saw was a farewell tour, or maybe it was advertised as a reunion tour. Dont remember the date, but I was still married, so prior to 2010 for sure. They always put on a great show.
As I get older things get blurred but it was one of the last live concerts Ive been to. The last live concert I went to was Aerosmith. I was a big fan back in the day and they sort of dropped of the map for awhile. Then they sort of made a comeback (I think the toxic twins sobered up). My ex was a teacher and told me some of her kids had an extra ticket so she got it for me and although I didnt accompany them to get there I sat with some teenagers and it was a blast.
