Related: About this forumToday was really fun with a few fruits/vegetables and plants from nearby! Hope you agree.
These were all taken with my 12--45mm lens. I like it more and more!

(8,197 posts)REALLY stunning (and I know how hard it is to succeed at that! ) And, once again from rainy grey PacNW: thanks for the color hit !

(152,768 posts)My ability to get the composition and to see the rhythm is something I think I was born with. I never have to try! It's just there.
I am glad all these colors gave you a lift! Grey days do that to me too.

(5,606 posts)You cropped the first with great care. Looks great magnified, too! The second looks like a swimming school of eels. The string beans look 3D. I really enjoyed this set. Thanks!

(152,768 posts)I actually didn't crop this first one. I put the lens out to 45mm and then carefully took the shot. I MAY have used my 2X extender to bring the image closer, but I don't remember and nothing in the exif data tells me if I did or not.
And the same for the other photos you commented on. I picked the most vivid objects I could find and went with it.
Thank You!

(152,768 posts)I have to agree!
Of course, the lens does what I tell it to do . . .
On edit: I just love your sigline!

(4,018 posts)It's a thought and realization I came up with, and have tried to live by, for about 40 years, after seeing a few people pass away with just that regret foremost in their minds.
