"I'm as pure as the driven slush." -Tallulah Bankhead
This morning's four inches of pristine snow has turned to slush. I waited until after it had stopped snowing before heading to market (last photo) only to be pelted with slush falling from the trees.

(6,967 posts)It was after an ice storm had coated the trees. The sun had been out for just a bit and the ice started melting so slowly that all the trees looked like they had rain falling underneath them!

(5,532 posts)I don't often have a need to use them. There hasn't been much snow here (Lancaster, PA) for the past six years.
Thanks!
