I had a Trek bike just like that in the early 1980s, toeclips and all. Great bike. Think it was model # 410.

Real good Silent Type! This one is circa 1977. I finally replaced the original drop bars when they affected my back.

I hear you about paved surfaces Inkey. I converted this road bike to mountain/trail/off road.

It is a great bike. Had every intention to ride it cross country, but chickened out. Alas...

It has seen some miles. I like biking all terrain. But mostly paved surfaces any more.
