A little summer fun.

Looking Northeast. Andromeda Galaxy makes an appearance.
Two satellites (?) streaked by. The second, bottom right is hard to see in the reduced image.
Original is 15.7 MB jpeg, 29 MB raw. All postimages gave me was 288K. Go figure.
20mm f/1.8 lens, 10 second exposure at iso 1600.

Not satellites; alien tourists. The men in black will be visiting you, soon. Hermit-The-Prog Oct 4 #1

Rare clouds provide sunrise and sunset photos, and some relief from the solar heat load on my home.

Most evenings, the heat convection next to my ridge causes stars to "dance like UFOs"

When the air is steady, I sometimes take a "shot in the dark"
