One week before Thanksgiving and the lilac is still blooming

More blooms have emerged since I posted the lilac photo on November 11. This is the third time the bush has bloomed this year. My climbing clematis has also started budding again. The high temp today was 64F and there's a thunderstorm passing over the house while I'm typing this post. Strange days, indeed.

Unfortunately, this is a spring-blooming plant that bloomed a second time in the summer and is now blooming in the fall when it should be leafless and dormant.

7. This is from this past Saturday, morning glory still blooming in November

9. Nice shot. I had morning glories blooming here two days ago. None this morning.

11. Yeah, last night and this morning it finally turned into November here. Cold and rainy.

8. I am in Michigan and still have roses blooming.

There are also some red ones in bud on the east side of the house. I'm going to cut them and see if they will bloom.

My roses are finished but the clematis has fresh buds.
