Finally getting back to some picture posting. These are from Summer in the Dolomites. There was a good storm the day before we showed up. This was around Sept 12th/13th. Brrr.

(152,478 posts)They are all wonderful, but my favorite is the vertical shot, showing the trees framing the very vertical mountain! Love the way the snow reveals the details.

(18,934 posts)Those are some of the pointiest, most jagged looking mountains I've ever seen. Fascinating to look at. Love all the others, too.
That crow is so puffed up, it looks like a ball of feathers. Maked me cold just to look at it.
