I tried to view them as if I didn’t know what they were. They look very exotic and beautiful.

I don't know their proper name; I do know they're related to the cauliflower.

I find them quite interesting too.

Talkin' about! Those look so otherworldly that a macro can make you feel like you are truly in some twilight zone kind of landscape!

I love them!

They really do look otherworldly.

I've been exploring some materials that will help me develop my skills to match what I want to achieve! I've found a couple of tutorials that should help me get there.

Thanks for your encouragement!

I was out for dinner last night and checked in before going to bed. I didn't sleep long but today will be funky weather so naps will be had.

The texture and contours of those things is so trippy!

I found a tutorial that suits me down to my toenails on how to really maximize my learning how to use the lens. Here's the link:

https://learnandsupport.getolympus.com/learn-center/photography-tips/macro/mastering-the-60mm-macro

Maybe reading this will make you want to rush right out and buy yourself one of these!

I hope I can find one soon! I looked in all the stores in town, crowded as they were, but didn't see any yet. I'll be looking until I do find one, by gum.

. . . The 11 minute "Off the Air" segment, Bliss. For context, Off the Air are/were short video segments that ran on Adult Swim, which the Cartoon Network at night. So, it's adult cartoon comedy (not porn ---stuff like Family Guy, Cleveland Show, South Park) and targeted programming at night. The "Off the Air" segments are usually stream of conscious images that appear to be inspired by someone on drugs to me. But they are visually interesting. I'm going to link to my favorite section in this clip. It's of a wave pool absolutely full of happy humans. Your pictures remind me of the clip that follows the wave pool. Your images and the video make me think of fractals.

Edited to add: apparently the embedded link will not go directly to 8minutes 25 seconds ---that is where the wave pool segment starts.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to watch the whole thing now, but I will!

Yes, fractals are fascinating!
