Even more new gear!

2/4/8/16 ND filter sets for my 18-300 and 10-20 plus the official Nikon-brand portrait handle/extra battery unit (holds either another rechargable or AA's for emergencies)…super exited for the NDs, ultra long exposure landscapes are definitely a thing I'm into.

The handle mounted, it looks like a Really Real Camera now! And it feels so much better in my hand, the extra pound or so makes it stable as a brick, not to mention how comfortable and controllable shooting portrait is! At least the tripod can handle the weight, I've had some very cheap ones that would have only been able to shoot the ground with this rig.

And yes, I do have plans, but it's the start of my workweek (yay hospitality) so they're gonna take a lil time.

That was a great move sir pball.

An old photographer friend once said he was always looking to replace and upgrade
camera equipment. So much so, he said he had a syndrome. GAS, for Gear Acquisition Syndrome.

I was looking through entries for this month's photo contest. Got to the end and thought "Hey, I recognize this one!" Way to go.
