"S.A." the young guy on Jeopardy last night. Have you EVER heard anyone talk so fast?

I couldn't understand what he was saying.

He spoke too quickly.

The day before, they had a woman who seemed to have a language barrier problem. She did better than I thought she would.

Maybe they are looking for a more varied group of contestants. But I think they always had that!

Jeopardy needs to be careful. Their ratings will drop if they have contestants who put off viewers.

2. I'm surprised the director didn't tell him to slow down when speaking. I was SO IMPRESSED

with the lady from China! She went to college here and worked hard and English is difficult!

3. I understood her perfectly.

That SA guy, who didn’t seem to have any accent, was impossible to understand because he spoke so fast.

4. She only had a slight trace of Chinese and one word slipped out wrong and she corrected it.

I wish I could remember but I thought, "Well done!" HE was impossible.

And they abbreviate the category and the monetary value.

I too thought... why didn't the director/sound guy tell him to slow down?
