Meghan McCain says farewell to 'The View': 'This has been a really wild ride'

On her last day co-hosting "The View," Meghan McCain shared some final words before departing the daytime talk show. "I will always cherish the time I spent with all of you," McCain said.

"Thank you all so much again for the privilege and honor it has been for the last four years to work on this show. It really has been incredible," McCain said on Friday. "It will be referenced in everything I do for the rest of my life."

On Thursday evening,
McCain tweeted her thoughts about finishing out her time as co-host of "The View"
alongside an American flag waving in the wind:

"You women have been so incredible to work with," she continued.
"This has been a really wild ride the past four years of my life.
It's been honestly the best of times and the worst of times in all ways, on and off this show," she said.
"It's been a really incredible, liberating experience and I will always cherish the time I spent with all of you."

Well, she's lucky she has a family fortune to fall back on, should there be a 4th Mrs. Domenech. Which, statistically, is likely to be pretty probable. Hopefully they signed a prenup but I'm willing to bet they didn't.

Their baby is pretty cute. Hopefully she grows up to be a loud and proud Liberal.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is returning to The View to guest co-host. Meghan McCain has already sounded off on the show and she’s excited to have the OG conservative voice back. Hasselbeck was on the talk show for 10 years and was fired along with Joy Behar when they tried to revamp the format. With an open seat at the table, could this be a backdoor audition for Hasselbeck? Whatever it may be, fans are not excited about the idea of her return.
