Affidavit: Man claims stolen Boulder fire truck 'belonged to him because of the Lord'

3. Released at 3am ...

Am I the only one that thinks it's a little odd to release people at 3am out in the middle of nowhere? It's not like the jail is near downtown or anyplace where he could get food or shelter. Walking on Airport road at 3am?

Maybe he was thinking "what I am I supposed to do now ..." and then saw the running fire truck and ... "oh cool, the Lord provides!"

Just wondering if the police think it through before sending them out the door. I really have no idea!
