1-6" fell. 4-6" in northern Maryland, 1-2" in north central Virginia and southern Maryland. The immediate DC area mostly saw 2-4". The pattern of snowfall -- heaviest northwest and lightest southeast - was exactly the opposite of Monday's storm, and more typical.

in my area I got about 2 inches. Easy push snow. It headed out. Got lucky.

At 5:15 tonight, there was still light in the sky.
