Convicted crime boss Michael Miske found dead in FDC

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Convicted crime boss Michael Miske was found dead at FDC Honolulu federal prison Sunday morning, multiple sources confirm to KHON2.
Miske was found guilty in July of racketeering conspiracy and 11 other felony charges, including murder in connection with the disappearance and presumed death of Johnathan Fraser, a friend of his deceased son Caleb who died in a vehicle accident that Fraser survived.
“It was certainly an astounding verdict that came from the jury after listening to months and months of testimony and evidence,” said Doug Chin, legal analyst.
He was awaiting sentencing in January 2025 and was in detention at Honolulu’s federal prison meanwhile.
