Things to do in Indy area?

Hello Hoosiers,

I'm going to be in the Indy area for work during the beginning of August and the family is thinking of tagging along. Two college age boys and a high school daughter plus wife.

We're pretty flexible- museums, history, and off the beaten path stuff are all on the table. We're probably not looking for nature on this trip.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Food recommendations as well. And bonus points for outdoor, or COVID mitigating ideas.

Thank you in advance!

and it's open on Monday, which is a rarity for museums - at least in my part of Ohio. Broad Ripple looks good too.

Thank you!

Maybe we can leave the kids in Indy and take a ride out that way. Thank you for the suggestion!
