The 7,600 that is supposed to go to any student who goes to private school... does that include

Homeschoolers??? I know one family who have 7 children currently in school.. (junior in high school to kindergarten), who homeschool because he has a successful business and quite wealthy.. Mom can stay home with the kids.. are they going to get 53,220 dollars for 7 kids

Will home schoolers get the same savings account? if not could it go to court and then what?

I have horrid heartburn over this

Parents could just keep their kids at home, call it a school and pocket the money.

This is going to be a nightmare.

I think my eyes rolled back.. I had never even thought about that.. exactly some parents would keep the kids home for the money.. and in some situations.. going to school keeps kids fed etc.. its just mind boggling how this could blow up

I am going to share this with hubby... I just thought of something else.. will we end up with endless charter schools or for profit schools that will not fulfill the educational needs of kids as in the tweet you just provided.. like Trump University except for grade schoolers and high schoolers..

Good God the possibilities for dishonest people will be overwhelming.. and we will have to add so many layers of government and oversight as this thing unwinds to protect kids, the right will be jumping off cliffs.. (you know how much they love government

part of the oligarch's plan all along to get their hands on the three biggest pots of annual spending remaining. They wanted the Postal Service, Social Security/Medicare and education. They already have had the defense budget for many decades. They do not care about the long term viability of the three programs all they care about is being able to weasel a way into them in order to siphon off as much as they can for themselves. Sociopath Capitalism.

So home schoolers don’t get the cash.

Yet.
