Louisiana Secretary of State releases early voting numbers for Dec. 7 election Share WDSU logo Updated
NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Secretary of State's Office released the final numbers from early voting for the Dec. 7 election.
Fewer than 100,000 residents voted early for the election.
A total of 93,893 early voting ballots were cast statewide.
A majority of the state's early voting turnout was in Baton Rouge where the mayor's runoff race is on the ballot.
