Mentioning the wrestling thing. Stephanik might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I gather she knows an Achilles Heel when she sees one. The reaction from the floor must have been music to her ears. If and when Gymmie goes down, her leadership standing could position her as a contender for the Speaker nomination. And she'd make sure that washout Jordan isn't the one to nominate her!

During the impeachment hearings. I'm sure she's dreaming of becoming Speaker herself. She already replaced Liz Cheney.
