Both Josh Stein (governor) and Rachel Hunt (lieutenant gov) will be sworn in on January 1, 2025, so Robinson only has 4 more days to play-act as Lieutenant Governor!
Good riddance. However, I doubt we've seen the last of him. He has tasted the grift and found it to his liking. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up somewhere in the Trump administration.
I've also head that he might primary Thom Tillis in the 2026 Senate race. That might make it easier for a Dem to pick up that seat!

I hope the Democrat who runs this time is fully vetted. Do you think Cooper will run?
