Door-knocking turns ugly for Grand Forks campaign volunteer

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Across the board, political candidates are making one final push with election day just two weeks out. In Grand Forks, State Senate candidate, Kyle Thorson, is doing so by going door-to-door.

“One of my volunteers got to a door, I was on the other side of the street, and I just heard this yelling...” Thorson explained.

He said a volunteer was greeted by a man, from an opposing party, completely yelling at him, saying he’s a “baby-killer” and is “ruining the country.”

“The homeowner was just mad about a Democrat coming to his door and talking about that,” said Thorson.

In shock, he left the property quickly... something Thorson, himself, knows all too well.

from motorists while manning a sign distribution location and we're in a fairly blue, NE Ohio area. The problem is that it borders a very red area.
