Three accused of fraudulently using checks from NDSU honor group

FARGO — Three people are accused of trying to steal about $2,800 by using checks that belonged to a North Dakota State University honor society.

Robert Earl Hicks II, and Natasha Sue Meza, both of West Fargo, each face one felony count of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, according to documents filed Friday, June 21, in Cass County District Court.

Travice Gerald Ledoux, no address given, is charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit unauthorized use of personal identifying information.

In November, a Fargo police officer responded to the NDSU campus to speak with an administrative assistant with the Tau Sigma Delta group about an attempted theft. Tau Sigma Delta is a national honor society for architecture and design majors and has a chapter at NDSU.
