South Carolina Slaveholder Arrested. Yes, You Read That Correctly
May 25, 2014

The president of a South Carolina Bible college was charged last week with essentially treating foreign students as slaves by forcing them to perform work for little or no pay.

According to The Sun News, federal prosecutors filed a criminal complaint against Cathedral Bible College President Reginald Wayne Miller, accusing him of forced labor.

~snip~

(Miller) is not allowed to set foot on the college campus in Marion or communicate with any of the school’s current or former foreign students as an investigation continues into allegations that Miller threatened to cancel foreign students’ visas if they did not work long hours for little pay.

Those terms are part of a $250,000 secured bond that Magistrate Judge Thomas Rogers set for Miller during a detention hearing Friday in federal court. In addition, Miller will be on home detention and will be required to wear an electronic monitoring device.

I would guess that Slavery is mentioned in their bible. So, of course he had to take advantage of foreigners. Make them work, or threaten to return them with their legal visas. I guess he forgot what year it was. In any event, lets hope the law reminds him its 2014 and that Slavery has been long ago abolished. Glad he was caught!

that accept foreign workers, all over the country.

They get paid but not the prevailing wage, and are forced to work
longer hours with the threat of losing their job, thus work sponsorship.

But nothing happens to those corporations because what their doing
is disguised as "legal".

And yes I'm talking about H1-B's.
