Town halls to discuss proposed Harrison County Assistance District ballot option
A series of town hall meetings, educating the public about the upcoming proposed Harrison County Assistance District needed to fund repairs for county roads, have been set this month ahead of the election.
The series of meetings, hosted by the Harrison County Republican Women, will kick off 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, at Hallsville Gold Hall. The second will be 6:30 p.m., Sept. 23, at Harleton’s fire station. The third will be 6 p.m., Sept. 30, at Waskom Community Center.
