How to request an absentee ballot in Fort Worth ahead of November general election

Last edited Thu Sep 26, 2024, 12:51 AM - Edit history (1)

The 2024 general election is just around the corner, which means the days until November’s voting are drawing closer.

But if you’re otherwise occupied on Election Day, you can still make sure your voice is heard in Texas.

Registered voters who can’t make it to their polling place on Election Day have options in Fort Worth for still casting their ballot, including vote-by-mail and in-person early voting.

But there are steps you need to take ahead of time to participate and deadlines to be aware of. Here’s what to know about absentee voting in Tarrant County:

So, my understanding is you have to request a mail in ballot by either a fax or email, and then you have 4 days to request one by mail and mail it within those 4 days?

I think I’ll just call the election admin office tomorrow to get a better understanding of this extra ridiculous law they cooked up to make it harder to vote in Texas.
