Here in Huntington, we're okay, but there are trees down all over, with roofs peeled off and billboards knocked down. Huntington Tristate Airport recorded a gust of 92 mph.
How are the rest of you?
(For the benefit of the non-West Virginians who might read this, we had a very nasty storm front pass through this morning. So far just a few minor injuries, but more than 140,000 households have lost power.)

(195 posts)Im in the northern Panhandle region of WV we had some huge downpours earlier and the Ohio River is way, way up! We didnt have the high wind - - YET!! Ive been looking at photos from the Huntington/Charleston area and it looks awful!! According to all the forecasts, the main event(s) are going to hit us later this evening and even overnight. Stay safe!!

(It was sunny & bright most of the day, now darkening early at 6:15, dark clouds and thunder making an appearance.)
