It's Bash West Virginia day! Again!

Why is it that when Virginia goes off the deep end (with the recent law requiring a trans-vaginal sonogram before having an abortion, among other idiocies), we get the blame?

We didn't pass the law. Don't blame us.

Did Texas get blamed for the personhood bill in Oklahoma? In the referenced post, West Virginia is getting the blame for the stupidity of the Virginia legislature and governor.

There are conservative idjits in every state -- even the bluest of the blue. But don't blame us for what Virginia did. We left there in 1863 and formed our own state.

When was the last time you heard a TV announcer call us 'Virginia' or 'western Virginia' during a ball game?
