Yellowstone National Park officials investigating grizzly bear incident caught on camera
by Maritsa Georgiou Wednesday, May 12th 2021
MISSOULA, Mont. Spring in Montana means the emergence of another video of a national park tourist behaving badly.
Darcie Addington shared a video with NBC Montana of a grizzly bear bluff charging a tourist that got way too close to the animal. ... Addington says she took the video from the safety of her vehicle in Yellowstone National Park Monday.
Addington told NBC Montana the aggravated grizzly came within 15 feet of the woman trying to take a photo with her cellphone, despite several people warning her and others they were too close.
As many people on social media pointed out, it could have been a much worse outcome for the tourist. ... NBC Montana wrote Yellowstone National Park officials who said they are aware of the video and it is under investigation.
