Howdy-
I'm looking to get an iPad, but don't know which one. There doesn't appear to be much difference to me, but I'm not that tech savvy when it comes to specifications. I'm looking to replace a piece of crap Dell mini that barely functions, and I'll need the iPad for web surfing, working in the archives, and recording travel notes.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Bought my iPad 1 when the 2's were released and saved $100.00.
Bought my daughter a 2 when the 3's were released and saved $150.00 on it.
It's whatever works best for you.

If you're still determined to get an iPad, the New one is definitely what I would get.
Apple hardware often becomes obsolete after several years. The newest model will probably remain useable longer than the older iPad.
