iPhone 5c resurrection

This old phone died on me Oct 14, wouldn’t charge, turn on etc ... was having an issues where the battery would not refresh, so showed low power most times even after charge ... took it into local shop to fix, no luck, wasn’t battery they said and couldn’t figure out what was wrong ..
I knew what it was, I had too much saved to it in pics (grandkids mostly) and there wasnt any room left to boot up I guess .. so got a new SE and moved on ...
only problem was all those pics lost 😕
So I let it sit til now ... still showed a sliver of red of battery as it has for months, but I plugged it in and voila, it charged up 100% 😀
Immediately deleted some apps I had loaded to free up space, and as soon as I can get a lightning/USB flash drive can save all those pics 😀

man I love it when I’m right 👍

I changed carriers and they wouldn't let me take it with me. It's here in my nightstand and I see it once in a while and feel a little pang. It was the perfect phone.

via Apple. I too had to retire the old 5C (which I LOVED because of size) for an SE, which I love, but...

Think about a cloud backup subscription. It also lets you back up any ipads and has been a welcome "salvation" for me on occasion.
