I both love it and hate it. The dictation thing works really well. In fact, I'm dictating this comment.
I tried to set up my friend's iPad yesterday, but I ran into all kinds of problems. I don't know if it's her connection, or lion. I brought mine home and set it up via Comcast, and it worked fine. the only problem I had is that it seems that I have to reset airport every time I turn it on. Does anyone else have that problem?
Also, I can't seem to get my calendars to sync. I get nothing on the iPad. If I enter on the iPod, it doesn't register anywhere even on my Mac Mini. If I enter on my Mac Mini, it may register twice on my iPod but not on my iPad at all. does anybody know how I can get all three Mac products to sync without duplicates?

(20,886 posts)Ill check back. I've read Tips and Tricks, and I found the manual on line. Seems like I'm doing everything right, but still no calendar events.

(45,596 posts)Main window will then show your iPad and info about it.
At the top their will be a menu that says
Summary Apps Music Movies TV Shows Books Photos Info.
Click on info.
Then you will see options to sync your calendars and address book contacts.
Glad you found the manual at the iBooks store! It really helps me a lot when I get stuck on something. Calendar sync was one of those things I got stuck on too!

(20,886 posts)I had sync all calendars. I had to deselect that and select each individual calendar. Then it worked. Strange.
