(27,759 posts)3. Welcome Fellow Democrats!
This election year is crucial to the future of our country. We need to be focused on every race from City Council on up. The era of right-wing Republican politics is over in November 2012, if we make it happen. It is going to be hard work, but I am confident that under the leadership of President Barack Obama and DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz that we can and must take the country back. I am proud to be a co-host of this group.

(7 posts)4. California needs a new start … Start with Stewart
One of the six functions of government is to develop business strength Incubate small business, special research and development, such as space research, job training, unemployment insurance and more. If big corporations are going to be so inclined as to cut Californian jobs while increasing their rates for goods, services and fees then I choose to run for the U.S. Senate so that I can get legislation passed that will have them paying their fair share in taxes. Currently only 12% of the California General Fund comes from corporations. Thats just too little when their profits are increasing but Californias and Californians profits are not increasing. If corporations arent going to take care of us then Im going to take care of the small businesses who have a more vested interest in the state of California and its people.
