For 15 years, the Museum of Sex, at 233 Fifth Avenue (an address, appropriately enough, near the former site of an early-20th-century red-light district known to vice enthusiasts as the Tenderloin), has been educating, by way of titillating, age-appropriate tourists and locals alike. While those who visit for a bit of blushing will no doubt find an array of X-rated artifacts capable of getting the job done, the true lessons to be learned from the one act with which every culture is consumed are many. And, oftentimes, a little gross.
