and learned that one of the people who survived (by eating the bodies of some who didn't make it) actually preferred the taste of humans over the wild animals that were caught and eaten before help arrived. He didn't need a secret sauce or salt and pepper. I never taught my 4th graders that when we studied CA History....their parents would have had me taken to the school board and fired.
