And some more naked news - this time from Louisiana.
Terrence Roquemore, 24 of DeBerry, Texas, is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault on a police officer, battery of a police officer, resisting an officer with force, and disturbing the peace/drunk and obscenity, according to a news release from the Bossier City Police Department.
Officers responded to a call at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday regarding a disorderly person who refused to leave DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel. When officers arrived, they spotted a man running around on the second floor of the casino "in an excited state," police said.
The man did not comply with orders from officers. A chemical spray used by police had no effect on the nude man. The man then began to throw chairs, striking on officers.
They fired bean bags to subdue him.

Two police officers suffered minor injuries -- one to the wrist and the other to the knee. One casino patron was taken to the hospital after some of the chemical spray affected her."

(4,192 posts)For example, it never occurred to me that I too could go to a casino, gamble, get drunk, get naked and end up throwing chairs at police officers. What a thrill that must be. I do live close enough to Central City in Colorado to make this dream come true. But alas, I have a few better things to do so it'll have to drop down on my priority list.
I guessed correctly that this man in Louisiana was white. How did I know he's not a black man without looking at the video? Well they used bean bags instead of bullets for one. Next time they gun down a suspected shoplifter or someone trying to get free rent on the pavement they can learn from this little exercise at the casino and not use deadly force for minor infractions. Another insane dream of mine...cops who don't take their position of authority as a license to kill. I know, that last one is a little over the top.
