Florida man arrested for keeping 2 alligators in his backyard pool



MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A Central Florida man was arrested for allegedly keeping alligators on his property in Marion County, Florida Fish and Wildlife said.

An FWC officer responded to the home of the man who at first denied having alligators, but then admitted there were two alligators in his pool, FWC said.

During the investigation, officers also discovered a recently killed alligator on the property along with several freshwater slider turtles.

The man was arrested for two counts of possession of an alligator, one count of unlawful take, and one count of unlawful take of slider turtles. .............(more)

I had to look that up. Fishing with anything other than a pole like seine fishing (net) etc.
