I just went through the latest issue and found bunches of shrewd pieces of consumer advice. (Hint: Amazon.com isn't exactly the place to bargain hunt online.)

Now I use The Consumerist, online.

I look for everything on there before I make any decision -- from face creams to cars. the last thing I researched was vacuums. I don't subscribe to their new magazine "shop smart" but I often look at it in the magazine section of the drug store.

Man, they are tough on products. Couldn't find a single stove that got a truly decent review.
