Why is it they can deliver the first check in April but can't deliver the second one?

11. If you paid your TurboTax

filing fee from your refund in 2019, you may see "Not available" on the IRS Get My Payment website. This means that your check was sent to a TurboTax account instead of your checking account.

TurboTax is working with the IRS to try and straighten the mistake out, but you may have to wait until you file your taxes to claim the credit. TurboTax is calling it an "IRS mistake."

4. I got mine!

My entire family is taking a trip around the world via the internet and then I plan to have a brief “retirement” party before I go back to working 12 hour days in our small family business.

I am rich with love, but $600 just almost covered my homeowners insurance.

5. I used TurboTax to do my 2018 and 2019 taxes, and I got mine a week ago

so dunno what the TurboTax screwup is about, but doesn't affect every TurboTax filer.

Come to think of it, I'm also a Social Security recipient so maybe they got my bank account number that way.

I did have to go through some extra efforts to get my April or whenever-that-was deposit .

8. I'm beginning to think mine was stolen

If someone hijacked my address with the IRS and had my stim check redirected somewhere, how would I know, when would I know? Because my stim which arrived electronically promptly in April is not here yet.

19. So I have to file the tax form to get the 2nd stim, which puts the 3rd stim off til 2022???

I can't file my taxes because I'm waiting on APEX Clearing to correct omissions on their 1099. The broker, Ally is not responding to anything anymore. Errors in 1099, and in missed accounting of 2021 trades over the last 2 weeks.

I think I didn't get the 2nd stim check because I didn't get a refund last year.

And the need to file for that on 2020 tax returns makes me think I'll miss the next $1400 stim because they won't have this years 2020 taxes on file soon enough.

Ally replied to my second inquiry about 10 days ago "Hopefully" the next APEX update will correct things. No word on when that will be. They may be hopeful, but I'm not. People report waiting on the phone for hours and then being disconnected.
