Pressure sprayers (gardening) used as shower

has anyone tried this, i used to use two of the
pump to pressurize plastic sprayers to wash my bicycle at work
seems to me the 10 liter or 20 liter might work as a handshower with a 'sink shower'/rinser handle?
--on edit--
already made (at least in a 5 litre 3 minute shower time version)

if the numbers run right then a 10 L would be approx 6 minutes and a 20 L would be 12 minutes

(34,342 posts)I like the way you thing outside the box. I can see this for camping and those in tiny houses. I'm kind of spoiled and would like to combine one with hot or warm water and a cold one

(1,937 posts)igloo water holders with a modified dip heater(12v?)
the ones they strap outside in the south
gonna assume that 6 gallons of hot(almost boiling) water will heat 15 gals cold to point of ouch
the other alternate would be, insulate it, drop a heater in it and modify the heater to thermostat 'not scalding'
prob more work but more luxurious

(6,045 posts)Black duct tape or in a black garbage bag & leave in sun & the water will get very hot. Very good if completely off grid & no battery power especially camping.

(164 posts)I can see it using water more efficiently to do the same amount of work: finer spray under a bit of pressure and with a positive control trigger.
And, painted black or in a black container, this would heat up nicely in the sun!

(1,937 posts)and in my research i did find it (overpriced as all out)

about $60-70...be cheaper to make own one
page says it has 3 minute shower time on 5 liters...i'd probably go bigger (10-20 liter..i used a 10 + a 20 to hose down my mountainbike once upon a time where the 10 had simplegreen+water and the 20 had water)
and for me..solar warming is only an option in summer (northern areas)
will also edit main article to add link i found
glad you like the idea
