A Mississippi man is facing charges for animal cruelty and bestiality, thanks to a tip reported to police.

According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, on September 26, 2024, the office received information about animals being tortured and killed while being recorded on video.
Deputies responded to the address to conduct a welfare check and identified the suspect as Mason McMillen who was taken in for questioning and placed in custody while a search warrant was served at the property
McMillen was initially charged with seven counts of aggravated animal cruelty and two counts of unnatural intercourse and held on a #500,000 cash-only bond
